According to a recent report, within 5 years more users will connect to the internet via mobile devices than desktop PCs. And for some Google news in the US. Google found a partner in CVS/pharmacy enabeling them to provide millions of medication records online.
Google simply won’t stop lavashing us with online goodies. If it’s a hartrate meter, or keeping track of energy consumption online , there is always room for more. Now you are able to draw in Google Docs. Using SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) or VML (Vector Markup Language) you are enabled to put in straight lines, pre defined shapes and your own doodles. New star on the search and find horizon? Wolfram Alpha. Stephen Wolfram is a scientist who has been working, with over 100 others, on what might become Google’s competitor. The Wolframists call it a ‘knowledge engine’ powered by calculations based on numerous algorithms and the use of natural language. Far to difficult for me to understand. That’s something I better leave to all the smart ones out there. Nevertheless it’s watched with great interest, it could just be the case that Google is in for some difficult times in the near future. We’ll see what happens.
